Cushing Maine

The Olson House is a National Historic Landmark. The site possess national significance in commemorating the history of the United states of America.

American artist Andrew Wyeth spent thirty summers, from 1939 until 1968, drawing and painting this saltwater farm and its owners, brother and sister Alvaro and Christina Olson. It was here that Wyeth painted Christina’s World in 1948.
